At the same time I wanted to see of anyone has tried this before because I don't want to screw the files up. She's my first and favorite Vocaloid and I don't think you can purchase her voice bank anymore so I really want to save her files before the disc just stops working completely. But has anyone else tried this method before? I know this won't work if it's a protected disc like some movies are. I wanted to copy or flat out move her installation files from the disc to a USB like I have my download-purchased Vocaloids on. That's my only theory as to why the installation is such a hassle. It isn't scratched or anything, but it's like the disc doesn't really want to be read? I know as discs age they can begin having some issues. But SeeU's disc is fairly old now, it takes me holding my external disc reader at a very very specific angle (if I move it an inch the whole installation stops) and what seems like an hour to install her. Dex and Daina are on a hard drive, no problem there. Uni's disc is newer and I don't have any issues. I recently had to reset my computer again- after safely deactivating all Vocaloids and software -and am currently reinstalling everything. I got SeeU's voicebank way back when she was first released in 2012. Probably a strange question, but I was curious.
